Dr. Jonathan Parker, D.O., M.S., FAAFP, originally from Gadsden, Alabama, has been practicing in Muscle Shoals since 2014. He received a B.S. in biology and a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and completed a M.S. in biomedical sciences (with an emphasis in clinical research) from A.T. Still University. He received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he also served as chief resident. He is board certified in both family medicine and obesity medicine. Dr. Parker is dedicated to serving his patients with both excellent and compassionate care. He currently resides in Tuscumbia with his wife Laura and their 3 children Hudson, Evie, and Mariella. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
